FOUNDER'S NOTE

Some journeys begin quietly, without a clear plan, just a feeling that stays with you.

For me, that feeling deepened when two dogs came into my life and slowly changed the way I saw the world around me. Loving them brought a new awareness, not just of their needs, but of the quiet trust animals place in us. It made me think more deeply about care, about responsibility, and about what it truly means to nourish another living being.

I have been vegetarian for most of my life and later chose to become vegan, guided by a deep compassion for sentient beings. But when it came to feeding my dogs, I found myself facing a question that felt difficult to ignore; was there a way to nourish them well without that care coming at the cost of another life?

That question stayed with me. It led me to learn, to explore, and to understand more about nutrition, especially the incredible nourishment that plants can provide. If humans could thrive on thoughtfully balanced plant-based nutrition, could the same be done for dogs, without compromising their health or wellbeing?

What began as curiosity soon became conviction.

Paws for Greens was born from that space; from a deep-rooted compassion for living beings, a respect for the planet we share, and the unconditional love I feel for my dogs. Like any parent, I wanted to be sure that there would never be a compromise when it came to their health, their happiness, or their future.

This brand is, at its heart, a reflection of that journey; a blend of empathy, learning, and the belief that care can always be more thoughtful when we take the time to understand.

Today, Paws for Greens continues to grow with the same intention it began with, to nourish with care, to act with responsibility, and to create choices that feel aligned with both wellbeing and compassion.
