CHALLENGING AND CHANGING
THE WAY WE LOOK AT DOG NUTRITION

UNLOCKING THE POWER OF PLANTS FOR YOUR DOGS HEALTH

Countless studies have demonstrated that when properly balanced, a vegan diet can support dogs' health, often allowing them to thrive even more than on traditional animal-based diets. In fact, some reports suggest that dogs on a vegan diet may live up to 18 months longer than their meat-eating counterparts.

THE DOGGIE DEBATE- CARNIVOROUS OR OMNIVOROUS

Just like humans, Dogs are Omnivores. Dogs are descendants of wolves but they are not wolves. After thousands of years of domestication, through hundreds of generations, dogs and humans have bio-logically adapted to become more similar in terms of social communication, energy requirements, temperature adaptation, behaviour, and, most significantly, dietary requirements.

THE TOP ALLERGENS ARE- MEAT AND DAIRY

Dairy, chicken and some other meat products were identified as most common allergens, prone to cause cutaneous adverse food reactions (CAFRs) in a wide range of dog and cat breeds, as per the study- “Cutaneous adverse food reactions in dogs and cats: A review”, conducted in 2016. The research highlights prevalence of these ingredients in triggering allergic reactions, emphasising the need of exploring alternative protein sources for managing food sensitivities.
